2018 Municipal Election
Voting Day is Monday, October 22, 2018 between 10:00 am and 8:00 p.m.
The first day for candidates to file a nomination paper for the office of mayor or councillor is Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Nomination can be filed during regular office hours. Nomination Day is Friday, July 27, 2018, This is the last day to file nomination papers. Nominations will be accepted between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on this date.
The term of the new office commences Monday, December 3, 2018

Due to the passing of our Mayor Ron Nelson in November of 2015 his seat became vacant. Councillor Jim Vezina was appointed as Mayor and expressions of interest were requested to fill the vacant Councillor seat. Councillor Chantal Alkins was selected to the seat and was sworn in to the position in March 2016.
The Election is complete. Council for the next four years has been set. Congratulations to our new Council. Mayor Ron Nelson, Councillors Kevin Foekens, Jerry Loan, Bishop Racicot and Jim Vezina.

Election Day is Monday, October 27, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the O’Connor Council Chambers located at 330 Highway 595 in the back of the Municipal Office – See signs on the building for direction to the entrance. The Accessible entrance will continue to be the main office front entrance.
Also an advance vote will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the O’Connor Council Chambers if you are unavailable on October 27 or would prefer to vote on that day.
