O'Connor Community Centre Renovations
The O'Connor Community Centre has received some new and exciting changes.  To start, the basement kitchen has been revitalized with the installation of a new kitchen exhaust hood and fan, a wet chemical system for fire suppression, a direct fired make-up air system, a new stove, deepfryer and lighting. The Centre has also received a new coat of paint to freshen it up, a dishwasher has been installed in the upstairs kitchen and some new appliances and cupboards have been purchased. Thank you to the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund (CIIF) for their contribution towards these renovations.

The Township of O'Connor was also successful in its application to Enabling Accessibility Fund - Small Project Component from the Ministry of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) for the Community Centre Accessibility Project.  Construction for the accessibility lift is complete and we are waiting for the final approval from TSSA before we can use it.
