O'Connor Community Centre Renovations
The O'Connor Community Centre has received some new and exciting changes. To start, the basement kitchen has been revitalized with the installation of a new kitchen exhaust hood and fan, a wet chemical system for fire suppression, a direct fired make-up air system, a new stove, deepfryer and lighting. The Centre has also received a new coat of paint to freshen it up, a dishwasher has been installed in the upstairs kitchen and some new appliances and cupboards have been purchased. Thank you to the
Ontario Trillium Foundation and the
Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund (CIIF) for their contribution towards these renovations.
Thank you to all who have also attended or supported the recent Community Centre renovations fundraising events hosted by the O'Connor Community Club and Fire Department. Thank you also to the O'Connor Women's Institute and Thunder Bay Ventures for their donations.
