Disposal Site
Jim Cronk, our caretaker has retired. The Township would like to thank Jim for spending his Saturday's and Tuesday's with our residents. We would like to Welcome Jesse Niemi as our new caretaker (formally Jim's fill-in when he needed a day off) and welcome Scott Holomego as our new occassional caretaker. We would like to ask that residents make sure that they bring their disposal site permits with them when they attend the site as our attendants may not know you all and you must be a resident of the Township to dump your garbage. Thank you.
The Disposal Site is currently running on Summer Hours. The dump is open Tuesdays from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The use of the site is for O'Connor residents only.
The recycle bins have two compartments only. Not as much sorting. Paper and Cardboard go on one side and the other recyclable containers will go on the other. These include plastics 1 & 2, tetra and tin cans. Glass will continue to go into the separate hole and pop cans may continue to go in the charity bin.
A pamphlet with information on recycling at the Disposal Site was made available to the residents of O'Connor in the October Cornerstone. If you would like a copy of the pamphlet please click here for a pdf verison.
Please drop off your garbage in the proper designated areas which are well marked.
Please remember liquor and wine bottles can now be returned for deposit just like the beer bottles.
Please remember to recycle!! and please flatten that cardboard. Thank You!
