Official Plan Amendment #2023-01

Council, at their meeting held on March 25, 2024 made the Decision on the Official Plan Amendment #2023-01 application.  Please see Decision Notice on this website under the tab - Services/Zoning, Planning and Land Development. 

Load Restrictions in Effect (Half-Loads)

Load restrictions has been applied to all Township of O’Connor roads starting Thursday, March 14, 2024 and will continue during the period designated by the Township of O’Connor. The Township of O’Connor reserves the right to extend the load restrictions due to the weather and/or road conditions after the MTO has lifted their restrictions. MTO has also placed load restrictions on Highways 595 & 588 effective March 11, 2024.

NO LONGER ACCEPTING E-TRANSFER PAYMENTS

Please do not attempt to pay the Township of O'Connor via e-transfer. The payments are not being deposited into the Township's account.  Please contact the Township Office for other payment options. If you have made a payment using this method since October 17, 2023, please contact the office at (807) 476-1451.

  • Monday 22nd - Council Meeting 7 p.m. in Council Chambers
  • Office Closed April 30 all day and May 1 until 2 p.m.

MAY

  • Monday 6th - Township Inspection - starting at 8:30 a.m. from Council Chambers
  • Tuesday 7th - O'Connor Community Club Meeting  7:00 p.m. in O'Connor Council Chambers
  • Monday 13th - Council Meeting 7 p.m. in Council Chambers
  • Monday 20th  - Victoria Day - Office Closed
  • Monday 27th - Council Meeting 7 p.m. in Council Chambers
